In registering your child you confirm that you hereby agree to release and hold harmless Mt. Bethel Elementary School and Club Buccaneer (BrainSTEM LLC), its employees and representatives, from any responsibility, loss, liability, damage or costs which participant may incur in this summer camp, whether caused by the negligence of MBES and/or Club Buccaneer, of participant and/or others, or due to accidental occurrences. In the case of injury or medical emergency involving participant, if a parent or guardian cannot be reached, you give Club Buccaneer representative(s) permission to seek appropriate first aid or medical care and you agree to be fully responsible for the cost of any services provided.

All Cobb County School District student conduct policies, as described in the student handbook, apply to students while participating in MBESF FACT Programs.

Inappropriate behavior may result in student’s suspension or withdrawal from FACT Programs.

No refunds of FACT registration fees will be provided if a student is withdrawn from FACT for violations of the student code of conduct.

There are NO MAKE UPS for school closings.

Transportation:

ALL FACT Club students must be registered for ASP.

ALL students must have their GoSafe information reflecting attendance in clubs each week. Students will always be sent to wherever their GoSafe sdays- bus, car, club, or ASP.

Students will automatically be sent to ASP if they are not picked up within 10 minutes of the end of their FACT Club.

Club Buccaneer refunds will be offered on a case by case basis, but not:

For a sold out class

Less than two weeks before program begins

After registration is closed

If your child receives special services (IEP or 504 plan) that may impact their performance in Club Buccaneer clubs , you must make instructor aware.
